This is the page on how to add Scoubidou Strands and beads to make it longer, fatter or prettier. In fact, the strands and beads make the possibilities endless!

 

Adding Strands

 

Adding strands is easier than it sounds.

1. Make a start knot and do as many knots as you want. You don't have to have to do many knots.

2. Tie the last knot that you want and pull it tightish. You have to be able to slip another strand though this knot.

3. Slip another strand in the loose knot. Even it out.

4. Pull the knot tight. Repeat steps 1-3.

5. tie 2 knots with the two new knots that you have added.

6. Now you can add as many strands as you need. To make it fatter, you will need to add more than 1 strand in the same loop at the one time. When making it fatter, you don't have to make it fatter the other way if you don't want to.
    

 

 

Adding Beads

 

​Adding beads is really quite easy. Let me show you how.

 

1. Tie the start knot. 

2. Tie one knot, but don't pull it too tight. You need to put another strand in the loose knot. After you have added it, pull the first knot tight.

3. Tie as many knots as you want or need.

4. Slide a bead on the strand in the middle. You should NOT have knotted it in your scoubidou.

5. Tie another two knots. Pull the tight enough.

6. You can noe keep adding strand on your scoubidou. They really make it very pretty.
