The box knot is really quite easy and looks quite effective. You will really wow your friends.

 

1. Start with the start knot with or without the loop.

2. Tie 10 square knots.

3. Then tie 2 round knots. Comtinue this pattern and the box knot will be made

The box knot can be made a keyring and can be made into a pen. Find the instructions on how to make the pen in the section called 'Stationary'.
